At this years annual Caribbean Carnival the streets of Notting Hill were as always vibrating with loud music, dance, alcohol, high spirits, multicultural food and masses of people. Always exhausting but fun!

Al Quds (Jerusalem) Day is an annual march and rally in central London on the last Friday of Ramadan organized by the Islamic Human Rights Commission. As the march arrived at the American Embassy they were stopped by an active and aggressive counter protest by the English Defence League (EDL) an extreme right Islamophobic group.
